22-20s

i went to see the 22-20's on sunday night, with my friends, and they were fanbloodytastic. Me and lauren all by ourselves before the show and bought drinks and things and we stood at the front as always and Willy Mason came on and he was all awww, and then some girl called kathy davies and her band came on and she was very average, quite boring, and then the 22-20's came on and completely blew everyone away with their bass, beer, and drug fuelled set. They were extremely loud and the bass player was like Mick Jagger only armed with a bass instead of a mic. The drummer was playing so hard he had a spare snare drum by his kit, presumably incase the original got smashed and had to change his ride cymbal half way through! They were brilliant and at the end the drummer threw his sticks into the crowd, only it was a pretty crap throw and they landed on the other side of the barrier but loz managed to stretch her fingers and, aided with Soaf's scarf swishing managed to get hold of it and gave it to me <3. Then I bought a tee and a badge. And then we went outside to wait for Loz's dad to take us home and some man was trying to shut the door but it just wasn't working and Soaf told him she was holding it open with the power of her eyes. She's fantastic <3. So, I had a great night thankyouverymuch. And you people should definitely check them out, at www.22-20s.com

Willy Mason was almost as good as the 22-20s.
But, eep, the 22-20s were loud! And it's not like I'm not used to loud music, hell, I've seen Death From Above 1979 live, but my ears were ringing really badly afterwards, and my ears haven't done that after a gig in months.
It was really fun. I hadn't been to a good fun gig like that since, ehm, two weeks before then.
